Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) chicken breasts, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for sautéing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add chopped chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in marinara sauce, spinach, and bell peppers. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
