Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breasts, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add chopped chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, spinach, and bell peppers. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
