Description

These fiery smash burgers combine juicy beef, sweet caramelized onions, and spicy jalapeños for a flavor explosion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (20% fat)
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1-2 jalapeños, sliced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Brioche or sesame seed buns
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Condiments (mayo, ketchup, or spicy aioli)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet or grill until very hot.
  2. Divide ground beef into balls and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Smash the beef balls flat on the hot surface, cooking until crispy on one side.
  4. Add sliced jalapeños and onions to the skillet to cook alongside the patties.
  5. If using cheese, place it on the burger during the last minute and cover to steam melt.
