Description

A refreshing drink that combines the spiciness of ginger with citrus zest for a hydrating experience.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 inches fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)


Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a pot.
  2. Add the sliced fresh ginger to the boiling water and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and honey, stirring until honey dissolves.
  4. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer to remove ginger bits.
  5. Chill the drink in the refrigerator.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with mint or lemon slices.

Notes

Use fresh ginger for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness according to personal preference.
