Description
A refreshing drink that combines the spiciness of ginger with citrus zest for a hydrating experience.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 inches fresh ginger, sliced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a pot.
- Add the sliced fresh ginger to the boiling water and steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add lemon juice and honey, stirring until honey dissolves.
- Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer to remove ginger bits.
- Chill the drink in the refrigerator.
- Serve over ice, garnished with mint or lemon slices.
Notes
Use fresh ginger for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness according to personal preference.
