Description

A delicious turkey breast slathered in a vibrant cranberry orange glaze, perfect for cozy gatherings and festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 (4-6 pound) turkey breast
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cranberries and orange slices for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cranberry juice, orange juice, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the turkey breast in the mixture overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  4. Place the marinated turkey in a roasting pan and brush it with some of the glaze.
  5. Roast the turkey for about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), brushing with glaze several times.
  6. Let the turkey rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve garnished with fresh cranberries and orange slices.

Notes

Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey is cooked properly. Adjust cooking time if using a whole turkey.
