Description
Delicious lasagna rolls filled with cheese and your choice of veggies or meat, topped with marinara sauce and baked until bubbly.
Ingredients
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each noodle and roll it up tightly.
- Arrange the rolled noodles seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and avoid overcooking the noodles to prevent them from falling apart.
