Description

Delicious lasagna rolls filled with cheese and your choice of veggies or meat, topped with marinara sauce and baked until bubbly.


Ingredients

  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto each noodle and roll it up tightly.
  6. Arrange the rolled noodles seam-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor and avoid overcooking the noodles to prevent them from falling apart.
