Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups macaroni pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Barbecue sauce for drizzling (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni pasta until al dente and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix in the cooled macaroni, shredded cheeses, and egg until well combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the center reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
