Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Barbecue sauce for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni pasta until al dente and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in the cooled macaroni, shredded cheeses, and egg until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the center reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with barbecue sauce if desired.
