Description

These Mango Habanero Cauliflower Wings are a delicious blend of spicy and sweet flavors, offering a fun twist on traditional wings while being vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for extra crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 2 habanero peppers (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Toss the florets in the flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Spread the cauliflower on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While the cauliflower is roasting, blend the mango, habaneros, olive oil, lime juice, and salt until smooth to create the glaze.
  6. Once the cauliflower is roasted, toss it in the mango-habanero glaze.
  7. Return the coated cauliflower to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to set the glaze.
  8. Serve with dipping sauces and garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.

Notes

For a milder version, replace habanero with a milder pepper like jalapeño. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
