Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (mix of semi-sweet and milk chocolate)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla, stirring just until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake until edges are golden and the center is slightly set, about 25 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
