Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (about 1.5–2 pounds)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Fold in sour cream, cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded chicken and pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Combine crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle evenly on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until the center is hot and the topping is golden brown. Broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for extra color.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
