Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert featuring crispy shell and creamy ricotta filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press the dough into a greased mini muffin tin.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before filling.
  7. In another bowl, combine ricotta, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix in chocolate chips.
  8. Fill the cooled shells with the ricotta mixture.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
