Description

Mini grilled cheese sliders are the perfect bite-sized comfort food—crispy, gooey, and endlessly customizable.

Ingredients

  • 12-count pack of soft rolls (Hawaiian or brioche)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for every 6 slider halves)
  • 6–8 ounces of shredded cheese (cheddar, gruyère, or a blend)
  • Optional fillings: thin ham, caramelized onions, or a smear of mustard

Instructions

  1. Split the rolls and butter the cut sides lightly.
  2. Layer shredded cheese on the bottom halves, add fillings, and top with remaining roll halves.
  3. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat, add butter or oil, place the sliders cut-side down, and press gently with a spatula.
  4. Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden, flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
  5. For even melting, transfer the whole pan to a preheated 350°F oven for 3–5 minutes.

Notes

These sliders are great reheated and pair well with mustard or pickles.
