Description
Mini grilled cheese sliders are the perfect bite-sized comfort food—crispy, gooey, and endlessly customizable.
Ingredients
- 12-count pack of soft rolls (Hawaiian or brioche)
- 1 tbsp butter (for every 6 slider halves)
- 6–8 ounces of shredded cheese (cheddar, gruyère, or a blend)
- Optional fillings: thin ham, caramelized onions, or a smear of mustard
Instructions
- Split the rolls and butter the cut sides lightly.
- Layer shredded cheese on the bottom halves, add fillings, and top with remaining roll halves.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat, add butter or oil, place the sliders cut-side down, and press gently with a spatula.
- Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden, flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
- For even melting, transfer the whole pan to a preheated 350°F oven for 3–5 minutes.
Notes
These sliders are great reheated and pair well with mustard or pickles.
