Description

A delightful cake that combines the velvety taste of cake with warm, spiced notes of Biscoff cookies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff spread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, Biscoff spread, and yogurt, mixing until incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but the cake stays moist for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
