A deliciously moist and flavorful banana bread made with yogurt, perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, yogurt, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir just until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For added flavor, mix in walnuts or chocolate chips before baking.
