Description

A deliciously moist and flavorful banana bread made with yogurt, perfect for any time of day.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, yogurt, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gently add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir just until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in walnuts or chocolate chips before baking.
