Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Zest
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Orange Juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the sour cream and milk until combined.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and orange zest.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  8. Fold in the fresh cranberries.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and fresh orange juice until smooth and drizzle over the cooled cake.
