Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, pounded thin
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg (for the egg wash)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- 4 sandwich buns or rolls, toasted
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Prepare the egg wash in a bowl; dip the chicken in the egg, then coat with the panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and garlic powder.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Toast the sandwich buns in the oven until slightly browned.
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading Caesar dressing on the buns, adding the crispy chicken, lettuce, Parmesan, and a sprinkle of black pepper.
- Top with the other half of the bun, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
