Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (for the egg wash)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 4 sandwich buns or rolls, toasted
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. Prepare the egg wash in a bowl; dip the chicken in the egg, then coat with the panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt and garlic powder.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Toast the sandwich buns in the oven until slightly browned.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by spreading Caesar dressing on the buns, adding the crispy chicken, lettuce, Parmesan, and a sprinkle of black pepper.
