Description
A creamy, bright dessert that tastes like summer, featuring a buttery graham cracker crust and a refreshing orange filling.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10–12 crackers)
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon orange zest (from 1–2 oranges)
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for whipping
- Optional: 2–3 tablespoons orange marmalade or orange curd for a swirl
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 pan with parchment, leaving an overhang; mix crumbs, sugar, and melted butter and press into the pan. Chill for 10 minutes.
- Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add condensed milk, vanilla, orange zest, and orange juice. Mix until fully combined.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar to soft–stiff peaks; fold gently into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread over the crust, swirl in marmalade if using, cover, and chill for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight before slicing.
Notes
Soften cream cheese to avoid lumps and chill crust before adding filling to ensure it firms properly. Use fresh orange zest and juice for best flavor.
