Description

A quick and easy dish featuring creamy pasta cooked all in one pan, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Ditalini Pasta (or substitute with orzo or small shells)
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth (low sodium or bone broth)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (adjust for desired richness)
  • 4 tablespoons Salted Butter (modify amount as needed)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (for sautéing garlic)
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • to taste Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the Ditalini pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and butter. Mix well until the butter melts into a creamy sauce.
  4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you like a little heat, add red pepper flakes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and feel free to add veggies like spinach or peas.
