Description

A delightful and rich coffee drink combining the bold flavors of coffee and sweet Oreos, perfect for warm days or a midday pick-me-up.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
  • 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 3 to 4 Oreo cookies, crushed into coarse pieces
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sweetener (sugar, honey, or syrup), adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping


Instructions

  1. Brew a cup of strong coffee or espresso and let it cool completely in the refrigerator.
  2. Crush 3 to 4 Oreo cookies into coarse pieces, keeping some chunks for crunch.
  3. In a blender, combine the chilled coffee, milk, crushed Oreos, ice cubes, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
  4. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth but still slightly chunky.
  5. Pour into a tall glass, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle extra crushed Oreos on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use flavored coffee. Adjust sweetness as needed and consider freezing coffee for ice cubes to maintain texture.
