Description

Creamy, chocolatey Oreo truffles that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 315 g)
  • 8 oz (225 g) full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 12 oz (340 g) melted chocolate or chocolate wafers


Instructions

  1. Pulse the Oreo cookies to fine crumbs in a food processor.
  2. Add the cream cheese and pulse until a uniform dough forms.
  3. Chill the mixture for 20–30 minutes to firm it up.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Chill the balls again for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Dip the chilled balls in melted chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Place dipped truffles back on parchment and allow to set in the fridge or at room temperature.

Notes

For a glossy finish, use high-quality couverture chocolate and temper it properly.
