Description
Creamy, chocolatey Oreo truffles that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 36 Oreo cookies (about 315 g)
- 8 oz (225 g) full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
- 12 oz (340 g) melted chocolate or chocolate wafers
Instructions
- Pulse the Oreo cookies to fine crumbs in a food processor.
- Add the cream cheese and pulse until a uniform dough forms.
- Chill the mixture for 20–30 minutes to firm it up.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Chill the balls again for 10–15 minutes.
- Dip the chilled balls in melted chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off.
- Place dipped truffles back on parchment and allow to set in the fridge or at room temperature.
Notes
For a glossy finish, use high-quality couverture chocolate and temper it properly.
