A simple and delicious dessert that caramelizes fresh peaches, perfect for summer or cozy evenings.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh peaches
 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
 - Pinch of salt
 
Instructions
- Halve the peaches vertically and remove the stones.
 - Melt the unsalted butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and salt until well combined.
 - Arrange the peach halves in the pan, cut side facing downward. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, allowing the surface to brown and caramelize.
 - Carefully turn the peach halves and cook the other side for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
 - Serve the hot peaches right away, paired with ice cream, yogurt, or pancakes.
 
Notes
Choose ripe peaches for the best flavor. Adjust sugar and cinnamon to taste. Keep an eye on cooking to prevent burning.
