Description
This Parmesan Crusted Chicken features a crispy coating and creamy Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting weeknight meal or a special occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for pan-searing
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Bread the chicken by dipping it first in flour, then in egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and transfer the chicken to bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- For the Alfredo sauce, heat heavy cream and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking until warmed through.
- Stir in remaining Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Serve chicken over fettuccine drizzled with Alfredo sauce and garnished with parsley.

For a gluten-free option, substitute breadcrumbs with gluten-free panko and use gluten-free flour. For a dairy-free version, use nutritional yeast and a dairy-free cream substitute.
