Description

Delicious, creamy Peanut Butter Balls that are easy to make and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups peanut butter
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp shortening (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine peanut butter and butter in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing to form a dough.
  3. Roll the dough into 1 tablespoon-sized balls.
  4. Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until the balls become firm.
  6. In another bowl, melt the chocolate and optional shortening until smooth.
  7. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate, removing any excess before placing them back on the tray.
  8. Allow the coating to set. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 2 months.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate or sprinkle crushed nuts on top before serving.
