Description

Rich, fudgy brownies combined with the delightful crunch and flavor of pecan pie. Perfect for gatherings and satisfying sweet tooth cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.2 oz) brownie mix
  • 2 cups pecan halves, roughly chopped
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Flaky sea salt, for optional sprinkle
  • 1/2 cup store-bought caramel sauce, for optional drizzle

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9×9-inch metal baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare and bake the brownies according to the instructions on the back of the box. Let them cool to room temperature.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the pecans, melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, honey, heavy cream, and salt.
  4. Spread the pecan mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  5. Return the baking pan to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Lift brownies out of the pan and cut into 16 portions. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and drizzle with caramel if desired.

Notes

Use high-quality brownie mix for the best flavor. You can adjust the amount of pecans or add chocolate chips. Let brownies chill fully before cutting for cleaner slices.
