Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Layer the brown sugar and chopped pecans at the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pecan layer.
- Pour melted butter over the cake mix.
- Pour water evenly over the top without mixing.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
