Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer the brown sugar and chopped pecans at the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pecan layer.
  4. Pour melted butter over the cake mix.
  5. Pour water evenly over the top without mixing.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
