Description
A quick and easy twist on a classic Philly cheesesteak, combining tortellini with sautéed steak, peppers, and gooey cheese.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Boil the tortellini according to package instructions.
- While tortellini is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the sliced steak until browned.
- Add the bell peppers and onions to the skillet and let them soften for a few minutes.
- Once the vegetables are soft, combine everything in the skillet and stir in the cheese until melted and creamy.
Notes
Experiment with different cheeses or add veggies like mushrooms for extra flavor.
