Ingredients
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese (Whole milk ricotta for best texture)
- 1 cup Pumpkin Puree (Homemade for extra touch)
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (Confectioners’ sugar recommended)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Use pure vanilla extract)
- 1 teaspoon Allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Clove
- 12 pieces Cannoli Shells (Store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and pumpkin puree, mixing until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and ground clove. Stir until fully combined.
- Place the filling in a piping bag or a large zip-lock bag with the corner cut off.
- Carefully fill each cannoli shell with the pumpkin-spice filling.
- Dust the filled cannoli with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve with caramel sauce or chocolate syrup for extra sweetness. Keep filling and shells separate until serving to maintain crunch.
