A delightful milkshake combining creamy pumpkin goodness with fizzy soda, perfect for fall occasions and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk or plant-based milk
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin purée
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups cold cream soda
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Ground nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)
- Crushed graham crackers or ginger snaps (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, canned pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the blended mixture evenly into four tall glasses, filling each glass about two-thirds full.
- Slowly pour cold cream soda over the milkshake in each glass to create a float, allowing bubbles to form. Stir gently if desired.
- Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of ground nutmeg or cinnamon, and crushed graham crackers or ginger snaps, if desired.
- Serve with a straw and long spoon for optimal experience.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day, then re-blend before serving.
