Description

A simple and delicious recipe for air fryer fish fillets with a crispy exterior and tender flaky inside, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, haddock), fresh or thawed
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • Cooking spray or olive oil, for spraying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
  3. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  4. Dip each fillet into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then press firmly into the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the coated fillets in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and lightly spray the tops with olive oil or cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 8 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Transfer the fillets to a serving plate and enjoy right away with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

Notes

Ensure fish fillets are dry before coating for better breadcrumb adherence. Experiment with different seasonings as desired.
