Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 package (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, proof the yeast in warm milk until bubbly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the flour blend.
- Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread the raspberries evenly over it.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until golden.
- Brush with melted butter and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh raspberries and ensure yeast is fresh for proofing.
