Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert featuring layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, whipped mascarpone, and fresh raspberries.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • Cocoa powder for dusting


Instructions

  1. Brew strong espresso and allow to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Dip ladyfingers briefly into the cooled espresso.
  4. Layer the espresso-soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  5. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers followed by a layer of fresh raspberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until the dish is filled.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, allow the tiramisu to chill overnight. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh mint if desired.
