Description

A delightful dish featuring tender beef and colorful vegetables, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Lean Flank Steak
  • 2 cups Baby Bok Choy
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 3 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds


Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
  2. Wash bok choy and separate stems from leaves. Slice red bell pepper, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet, add flank steak, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove beef and stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  5. Add bok choy stems and red bell pepper, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add bok choy leaves, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water in a bowl; pour into skillet with vegetables and beef.
  8. Cook for another minute until sauce thickens.
  9. Stir in hoisin sauce and sriracha, mix well, and remove from heat.
  10. Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Best served hot over rice or noodles. Can be customized with your favorite veggies or made vegetarian with tofu.
