Ingredients
- 1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a tart pan, then pre-bake for 10 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté sliced mushrooms, garlic, and sage until tender.
- In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, eggs, cream, and sautéed mixture; season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-baked crust.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
