Description

These juicy meatballs are packed with flavor and coated in a sweet and savory sauce, perfect for dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
  • 3 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • Sesame Seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, panko breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix gently until well combined.
  2. Wet your hands and roll the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden.
  5. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Heat over medium until honey dissolves, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. If desired, thicken the sauce with a cornstarch slurry.
  7. Transfer the baked meatballs to the saucepan and toss to coat them in the sauce. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
  8. Serve garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

Serve on a bed of rice or with stir-fried vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer.
