Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh crab, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2-3 chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- Steamed buns or rice for serving
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a wok, heat the vegetable oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and chilies until fragrant.
- Add the crab pieces and stir-fry for a few minutes to coat with the aromatics.
- Mix in the tomato paste, soy sauce, and sugar, and ensure the crab is well coated.
- Cover and simmer until the crab is cooked through and flavors are infused, about 30 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed buns or over rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
