Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Layer the sliced sweet potatoes in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour over the sweet potatoes.
- Sprinkle with both cheeses over the top.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden-brown.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut milk and use dairy-free cheese.
