Description
Deliciously thick and chewy chai oatmeal cookies drizzled with a sweet maple glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Real Butter, softened
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Chai Spice Blend
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: oats, flour, brown sugar, and chai spice blend.
- Add the softened butter, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- While cookies are baking, prepare the maple glaze by mixing powdered sugar, a drizzle of maple syrup, a splash of milk, and a pinch of chai spice.
- Once cookies are out of the oven, drizzle the glaze over them and allow to set for a few minutes.
Notes
For extra chewiness, remove cookies from the oven while they’re slightly underbaked.
