Description

A delightful and decadent shrimp butter spread that elevates appetizers and impresses guests with its unique flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (parsley or dill), chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the shrimp in a skillet over medium heat until pink and tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, blend the cooked shrimp with softened butter, garlic, lemon juice, and herbs until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve spread on toasted baguette slices or with crackers.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
