Description
A quick and easy tater tot casserole that brings joy to the whole family without the hassle.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots (about 2 pounds)
- A pinch of salt and pepper
- Diced onion (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet (about 7 minutes).
- Mix the browned beef with cream of mushroom soup and seasonings in the skillet.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Layer frozen tater tots on top.
- Bake until golden and crispy.
Notes
Casserole can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours. It can also be frozen for later use.
