Description

A quick and easy tater tot casserole that brings joy to the whole family without the hassle.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots (about 2 pounds)
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • Diced onion (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet (about 7 minutes).
  3. Mix the browned beef with cream of mushroom soup and seasonings in the skillet.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Layer frozen tater tots on top.
  6. Bake until golden and crispy.

Notes

Casserole can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours. It can also be frozen for later use.
