Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker and add chicken broth, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken and stir in the pasta.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Serve with a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan and black pepper.
Notes
For best results, add pasta in the last 30 minutes to prevent it from becoming mushy. Fresh herbs can enhance the flavor.
