Description

Delicious and easy turkey meatballs cooked in a slow cooker for a healthy, flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 24 oz marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.

Notes

For best results, don’t overmix the meatball mixture and opt for lean ground turkey.
