Delicious and easy turkey meatballs cooked in a slow cooker for a healthy, flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 24 oz marinara sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
Notes
For best results, don’t overmix the meatball mixture and opt for lean ground turkey.
