Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the hot skillet and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan and stir in the honey.
- Once the chicken is seared, pour the honey butter mixture over the chicken in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from oven and let REST for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier option, use boneless, skinless chicken thighs. This dish is naturally gluten-free and can be made dairy-free by substituting butter with olive oil.
