Description

A comforting dish that combines sweet and spicy flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in the hot skillet and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan and stir in the honey.
  5. Once the chicken is seared, pour the honey butter mixture over the chicken in the skillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from oven and let REST for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use boneless, skinless chicken thighs. This dish is naturally gluten-free and can be made dairy-free by substituting butter with olive oil.
