Description

A warm bowl of Spicy Steak Chili, packed with robust flavors and comforting heat, perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chuck steak, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sour cream and cilantro, for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and brown the diced chuck steak until nicely seared.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until they become translucent.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes and both cans of beans to the pot.
  5. Lower heat and let the chili simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Adjust seasoning and let it rest for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Perfectly pairs with cornbread or a simple salad. Feel free to experiment with toppings.
