Description

A bold and aromatic dish featuring tender chicken stir-fried with fresh basil and chili, delivering vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-4 fresh Thai bird chilies, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Jasmine rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a hot wok or skillet.
  3. Add garlic and chilies, stir-frying for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Increase heat to high and add the marinated chicken, stir-frying until cooked through.
  5. Add fresh basil just before serving and stir until wilted.
  6. Serve over jasmine rice.

Notes

Use fresh basil and garlic for the best flavor. Adjust spice levels according to your preference.
