Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup queso dip
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cilantro, jalapeños, and tomatoes for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the steak with lime juice, olive oil, and spices for at least 30 minutes.
- In a hot skillet, sear the marinated steak until browned on both sides, then remove from the skillet.
- Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until translucent.
- Add the rice to the skillet, followed by the beef broth and seared steak.
- Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook until rice is tender and has absorbed the flavors.
- Stir in the queso dip until melted and creamy.
