Description
A restaurant-worthy dish featuring savory steak complemented by a rich, creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 steaks (ribeye or filet mignon)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a hot skillet and add the steaks. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream, scraping up any brown bits from the pan.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve the steaks topped with the garlic cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Choose tender cuts for best results. Let the steak rest before slicing for juiciness.
