Description

Impress your family or guests with tender steak surrounded by a rich garlic cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 ribeye steaks or filet mignon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a hot skillet, sear the steak until it reaches your desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak and let it rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Deglaze with beef broth, scraping the bits off the bottom.
  6. Add heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  7. Slice rested steak and plate, drizzling garlic cream sauce over the top.

Notes

Let the steak rest for at least 5-10 minutes after cooking to enhance juiciness.
