Ingredients
- 4 ribeye steaks or filet mignon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
- In a hot skillet, sear the steak until it reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Deglaze with beef broth, scraping the bits off the bottom.
- Add heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Slice rested steak and plate, drizzling garlic cream sauce over the top.
