Description

Delightful puff pastry filled with a creamy mixture of strawberries and cream cheese, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 egg, for egg wash


Instructions

  1. Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Roll out the pastry and cut it into squares.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture and fresh strawberries into the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners over to seal, creating a pocket.
  6. Brush with an egg wash.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
