Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 egg, for egg wash
Instructions
- Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Roll out the pastry and cut it into squares.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture and fresh strawberries into the center of each square.
- Fold the corners over to seal, creating a pocket.
- Brush with an egg wash.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
