Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipped cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into a jelly roll pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes.
- Once baked, let it cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add whipped cream and powdered sugar until well combined.
- Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the cooled sponge cake.
- Roll the cake carefully with the filling and chill it for at least 2 hours before slicing.
- Slice and serve garnished with additional strawberries and powdered sugar.
