Description

A delicious dessert that combines creamy cheesecake with the lightness of strawberry shortcake, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Gently fold in the dry ingredients and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the batter into a jelly roll pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Once baked, let it cool completely.
  7. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add whipped cream and powdered sugar until well combined.
  8. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the cooled sponge cake.
  9. Roll the cake carefully with the filling and chill it for at least 2 hours before slicing.
  10. Slice and serve garnished with additional strawberries and powdered sugar.
