Description

A delicious homemade stuffed crust pizza filled with mozzarella and topped with pepperoni.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 20 to 25 pieces of turkey or beef pepperoni
  • 6 to 8 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 pound fresh pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Turn your oven to 425°F. If using a pizza stone, place it inside to heat up.
  2. Dust a counter with flour and roll the dough into a 12-inch circle. Move it to an oiled baking sheet or hot stone.
  3. Place mozzarella sticks near the edge of the dough, leaving about an inch from the rim. Fold the edge of the dough up over the cheese and pinch to seal.
  4. Spread pizza sauce over the center of the dough, avoiding the stuffed crust. Add shredded mozzarella, then pepperoni on top.
  5. Brush the stuffed crust with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy hot!

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in an oven or air fryer for a crispy texture.
