Description

Stuffed Garlic Knots filled with savory flavors and a buttery texture, perfect for snacking or as a delightful side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Butter, melted for brushing


Instructions

  1. Mix warm water and yeast in a bowl; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil; knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let dough rise for 15 minutes in a warm place.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Roll dough into small pieces and flatten each piece.
  6. Place shredded mozzarella and minced garlic in the center and fold the dough over to form a knot.
  7. Place knots on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and don’t overstuff the knots. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
